Hi! I'm Wemmy,
a passionate pet photographer
based in Hong Kong.

As a proud (and accidental!) cat mom of five, my life is filled with unconditional love, playful mischief, and yes, plenty of fur-covered clothes! My journey into on-site pet photography began with the challenge of trying to get five cats to a studio for a family photoshoot. This experience inspired me to create Awwwmoments, a pet photography service that brings the “studio experience” to your cozy home.

Over time, I realized that there are so many stay-at-home pets — from shy cats to senior animals to pets with special needs — who deserve just as much love and attention as the dogs frolicking in the park. That’s why my mission is to offer professional pet photography services in Hong Kong for all pets, regardless of their age, species and breed, or condition.

My Session & Photo

With my bright and cheerful personality, I ensure every session is a fun and relaxed experience for both pets and their owners. Each session starts with dedicated time to play and bond with your pet, helping them feel comfortable and at ease before the photoshoot begins. I take a patient and understanding approach towards your pet’s unique personality — whether they’re shy, full of energy, or somewhere in between.

My photography style is inspired by your pet’s personality and/or the theme you choose. In general, the photos will come out vibrant, heartwarming and colorful, serving as joyful memories you’ll treasure forever.

Beyond Photography

I’m deeply passionate about helping stray animals find loving homes. My mission goes far beyond just capturing beautiful moments. I aim to showcase their unique, brave spirits, share their stories to raise awareness about pet adoption and other important animal-related causes. On my story page, you’ll find heartfelt accounts of pets I’ve encountered—feel free to explore these special bonds.

In a visually driven world, I hope my work inspires more people to support these meaningful efforts and make a difference for animals in need. Growing up in the vibrant city of Hong Kong, I've always been fascinated by the incredible diversity that around us. Yet my city is not to most animal friendly city and people here are remains disconnected from natural. I believe it’s crucial to bridge this gap and foster a sustainable bond with all animals and nature as we human rely on nature. That’s why I’ve launched my Instagram account in 2023 dedicated to animal photography! Through my lens, I aim to not only showcase the beauty and uniqueness of these creatures but also to inspire others to reconnect with the natural world. My hope is that one day, we can all share stories about our adventures in nature and celebrate the incredible animals that is living with us.

Fun Fact: Why Awwwmoments?

The name Awwwmoments was inspired by the countless “awwww!!” reactions I received whenever I shared pet photos. It perfectly captures the joy and heartfelt emotions that these moments bring to pet parents!
