「他叫貓大爺囉。」
當我第一次聽到這隻貓的名字：「嘩！實在太有氣派。」
貓大爺是一隻年邁的白底橘貓，牠的優雅在家中啞藍色牆壁的襯托下顯得格外迷人。那雙琥珀色的大眼睛如同兩顆閃耀的寶石，長長的鬍鬚則為牠的面容增添了一絲古樸的韻味。 由於情緒問題，導致貓咪掉毛禿一塊，但無阻主人及貓大爺之間的愛。貓大爺仍喜愛蜷縮在柔軟的被鋪裡，享受主人溫暖的撫摸。
—— 拍攝後記 —–
這個拍攝大概是自己做寵物攝影期間最短的拍攝。從跟貓貓認識到完成拍攝不多於半小時。在這個拍攝中也有運用幾個合適的年長寵物話比較敏感寵物的攝影技巧：
- 選擇自然光 – 在窗邊拍攝利用自然光源，因為年長寵物的視覺可能較為敏感。
- 捕捉自然姿態 – 靜靜等待，觀察年老寵物的自然行為，捕捉牠們放鬆的瞬間。
- 低角度拍攝 – 從寵物的視線高度拍攝，能夠更好地展現牠們的情感與特徵。
- 輕聲交談 – 使用平靜的聲線輕柔的語氣與寵物互動，能讓牠們感到放鬆。
- 簡單的背景及道具 – 由於現場藍色的牆壁，加上後期製作把床舖以及牆壁的顏色更統一令整體更和諧。

貓大爺 will be Master Cat/ Cat Grandpa/ Cat Master. Something that is definitely majestic!!
Master Cat is an elderly white based ginger tabby. He stands out beautifully against the home’s blue walls. His amber-colored eyes shine like two sparkling gems and his long whiskers add a touch of old-world charm to his face. Despite experiencing some hair loss due to emotional issues, the bond between Master Cat and his care taker remains unbreakable. He still loves to curl up in the soft bedding, enjoying the warmth of his owner’s gentle caresses.
—- BEHIND THE SHOOT —-
This shoot was one of the quickest I’ve done during my pet photography career, taking no more than half an hour from meeting the cat to completing the session. During this shoot, I applied several suitable techniques for photographing older and more sensitive pets:
- Natural Light
Utilized natural light by shooting near a window, as older pets may be sensitive to bright flashes. - Capturing Natural Poses
Patiently observed Cat Grandpa’s natural behaviors, waiting to capture his relaxed moments. - Low Angle Shots
Shot from the pet’s eye level, which allowed me to better showcase his emotions and features - Soft Interaction
Spoke to him in a calm and gentle tone, helping him feel relaxed during the shoot. - Simple Background and Props
As the blue walls provided a harmonious backdrop, I enhanced the overall aesthetic by ensuring the bedding and wall colors complemented each other in post-production.
